AMX Mod X has no built-in per-plugin profiler by default, so here is the honest toolkit: bisection with amxx pause, reading meta list and stats, and isolating the plugin that is dragging your fps down.

A plugin shows running in amxx plugins but does nothing. How a missing module, a guard cvar, the wrong mod, or a bad register_event silently kills behavior, and how to trace it.

The red flags in .sma source and compiled .amxx files that hand an attacker admin or RCON — hardcoded IDs, hidden commands, outbound sockets — and how to vet a plugin safely.

A disciplined bisection method for finding the AMXX or Metamod plugin that crashes your CS 1.6 server - reading the logs, halving plugins.ini, and confirming the culprit both ways.

A curated, opinionated set of AMX Mod X plugins every new public CS 1.6 server should run: admin control, map voting, stats, adverts, name filtering and basic anti-abuse, with load order.

What 'Invalid Plugin' means in AMX Mod X: a corrupted upload or a file that is not a real .amxx, how it differs from version problems, the wrong compiler, and reading amxx plugins status.

Why 'say rtv' does nothing, how the required-ratio and delay cvars gate the vote, the maps.ini and nextmap conflicts that break it, and how to confirm the vote actually fires.

Why AMX Mod X cannot hot-swap a plugin binary, how to stage a new .amxx safely, use amxx pause and a map change to reload cleanly, and roll back the moment something breaks.

The correct way to install an AMX Mod X plugin: where the .amxx goes, registering it in plugins.ini, config and module dependencies, and why plugins silently fail to load.
